Manufacturing agreement: Swedish startup is looking for a manufacturer of snap buttons for an innovative nursing top

A Swedish startup, based south of Stockholm, has designed a unique nursing top/tank for women breastfeeding. The design is innovative and totally unique, thanks to the discreet strapless breastfeeding solution. The company is currently selling the nursing top through an online shop, and is now looking for suppliers to conclude a manufacturing agreement for 7 mm diameter snap buttons in colours off-white and black.

The Swedish startup consists of an entrepreneur with 19 years of experience in the marketing field and 11 years as a project manager and key account manager. To ensure a successful and professional career transfer, she has taken in courses in fashion, design, sewing and entrepreneurship.

The nursing top is the company’s main product, and it is manufactured in two colours; black and off-white. However, the plan is to extend the offer with other types of clothing for nursing women in various colours.

The unique and innovative strapless design makes breastfeeding easier and the top/tank can also be used after the breastfeeding period, since it doesn’t look like a typical nursing top.

The company is now looking for a long-time manufacturing agreement with a supplier of 7 mm diameter snap buttons. An estimated initial volume is 2 000 – 3 000 units of each colour.
It is also important that the manufacturer later will be able to scale up, in numbers as well as in colours, as the business grows.
