An Italian company producing and selling industrial wooden packaging is looking for new suppliers, namely producers of raw and semi-finished wood packaging from Eastern European countries, including the Baltic States for medium-long term manufacturing partnering opportunities.
The Italian company, established in 1986, produces wood packaging in its plant in central-southern Italy, in the Abruzzo region.
Specifically, the company manufactures industrial wooden packaging of any type and size as it has a high-tech sawmill department that allows the realization of any type of processing required. The goal is to meet the needs and expectations of the customer, not only by ensuring compliance and quality of the product, but also by trying to optimize costs in order to apply the best prices, always providing professional services in optimal time spans (right product at the right time).
For years the market for the procurement of raw materials, sawn mainly from fir wood, has been for up to 90% Austria, together with some resources from Germany.
Recently the company has begun to study the opportunity to activate commercial collaborations with partners present in new expanding markets such as those in Eastern Europe and is therefore looking for new suppliers, specifically producers of raw and semi-finished wood packaging for the start of medium to long term business relationships.
Technical specifications of products sought:
- main timber used: fir (80%) - pine (20%);
- sawn 21x143x1200 mm
- sawn 21x98x1200 mm
- sawn 14x68x1090 mm
- sawn 19x92x2260 mm
- dried sawn timber 19x110x800 mm
In addition to semi-finished products, the company also buys long tables:
- mm. 17x75-95, mm. 21x75-95-115, 12x60, 13x70, 14x75. Lengths of 4-5,00 mt.
Company’s current total purchase of raw and/or semi-finished material is around 100,000 (one hundred thousand) cubic meters per year.
The ideal partners with which to engage in manufacturing agreements should operate in countries that are, physically closer, such as Slovenia, Croatia, etc., as this would help in containing transport costs.
Partners however are sought in all the Baltic and Balkan countries and the entire Eastern European area.
