Austrian companies search for solutions to capture and extract relevant information to monitor the actual condition of an asset. Potential partners can offer solutions for conditioned based maintenance and/or fog computing technologies to process the data. They are looking for start-ups to implement the technology under technical cooperation agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
As part of a regional program in Tyrol, three Austrian companies are looking for start-ups from Europe and beyond. The medium sized companies are manufactures of traditional industrial products such as tools, ductile cast iron systems and motor engines.
The companies are looking for solutions in the field of conditioned based maintenance. So far, a lot of data has been collected from the machines, but not further processed. Due to the huge amount of collected datasets, the necessary computing power is no longer sufficient to analyse the data.
Potential partners should offer a solution to extract relevant information from big data sets in order to analyse the data for condition based maintenance applications. In particular, they are interested in implementing artificial intelligence solutions to predict customer specification recommendations for tools or process efficiency based on both real time and recorded data.
The companies are open to any type of solution (proof of concept, prototype or already on the market) from European start-ups to implement artificial intelligence solutions into their production systems. Envisaged cooperation types are technical cooperation agreement or commercial agreement with technical assistance.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This technology request is part of a regional program to connect start-ups with industry and is published until the 17th of June 2019 (Deadline for EOIs). If a start-up does express interest and can offer a solution to the Austrian companies, it will be guided towards a selection process. Selected start-ups will be invited (including a financial support) to a matching day from 9th to 10th of July where they can pitch their solutions directly to the companies in Austria.
